Disaster shelters continue to welcome families who were obliged to leave their homes because of the water damage. The one at ANS Ampefiloha is particularly busy with newborn babies and mothers with special needs. The nuns of the Marie Thérèse Ledochowska Anatihazo Isotry school welcomed them, in order to ensure better care, especially for mothers and babies’ health. As per request for contributions from the mother and child association, SOMAPRO brought its support to the infants.
SOMAPRO HELPS 14 MOTHERS AND INFANTS IN THE DISASTER SHELTER AT A SCHOOL CALLED “MARIE THÉRÈSE LEDOCHOWSKA,” ANATIHAZO ISOTRY
As a partner of the Mother and Child Association, SOMAPRO responded to their call for contributions. The recipients are 14 mothers and infants currently based at a school called “Marie Thérèse Ledochowska”, Anatihazo Isotry.
Donation includes:
- 14 cans of Nursie 1 infant milk;
- 14 packs of mini diapers;
- 14 Vao baby shampoos;
- 28 impec sponges for moms;
- 200 calendars.
A LOGICAL CONSEQUENCES TO SOLIDARITY ACTIONS
SOMAPRO has already been involved in disaster relief following Cyclone Ana. The company also supplied hygiene and hand sanitizing products for the CUA and for the victims.
