After the event of cyclone Ana in Madagascar, SOMAPRO decided to help the victims by responding to the SOS call made by the Urban Commune of Antananarivo. On January 24, 2022, the company donated hand disinfectant to the agents of the Urban Commune of Antananarivo and to the victims of natural disaster. Aware of the health risks involved in the current water damage, and the importance of the intervention of the commune’s agents to bring relief to the victims, SOMAPRO donated 1000L of hydroalcoholic hand disinfectant solution.
The products will be used by the agents working in the field with victims of the natural disaster, as well as those working at the Communes. An additional 2,000 bottles of 50ml pocket-sized hydroalcoholic gel were also donated to victims, to help them keep their hands clean at the centers, where compliance with barrier gestures is a rigorous exercise.

The ceremony took place on Monday, January 24, 2022, in the presence of the Mayor of the Urban Commune of Antananarivo, Mr Naina Andriantsitohaina, and SOMAPRO, represented by Mr Missam HAJI DJIVAN.
